Plastering, repair work

This plastering job was carried out in Toton. We had originally plaster boarded and skimmed the extension, and this was making good the damaged plastered walls where the doorway had been cut out onto the landing. We had to build a small timber frame for above the door, all of the walls were cleaned of loose backing plaster and dust, and then primed. The repair was carried out using a mixture of plaster board, bonding coat with fibre reinforced mesh. The skimming coat was finished flat, uniform and feathered into existing plaster.
